Custom
Casio DWE-5600CC-3ER, with replacement negative display.
Description
New,
unused watch now upgraded with new custom negative LCD display supplied by
Casio UK. Same as the DW-5600BB-1 display which is the clearest of the 5600
negative displays. No scratches and LCD installed carefully.
Sample Photos are from my own personal watch, showing different bezel and strap options that are included in the kit for this model.
I include
the original positive display and backlight filter with the circuit board design
separately. Also include original proof of purchase, warranty card etc.
The
backlight filter with the circuit board design did not suit the negative
display as it made the backlit digits looks green and red so I removed it to
give the backlit digits a cleaner and clearer all green look. In my opinion it
looks better than the original and the display is more harmonious with the
circuit board green dial as previously there was too much contrast with a
silvery display and green dial.

Warranty
I am not
a watch dealer but I can provide you with a one month limited warranty on this
watch for peace of mind, in the unlikely event you spot an installation issue
after you have started wearing it, which I will fix (for UK purchases only
because of shipping costs). This excludes the battery. I have carefully examined this watch in bright
sunlight after completion of the installation to look for any issues. The
outside of the glass is as new so this would be limited to issues inside the
watch. The watch has not been pressure tested after refitting the case back as
I do not have the necessary equipment, however the main gasket was in excellent
condition, being brand new, did not require relubrication and was flush when
refitting the case, so I would not expect any water resistance issues at all
beyond those limited to the original watch (don't press the buttons when the
watch is wet etc.) Refitting the case back outside the factory is something you
would do for the 5-7 yearly battery changes anyway in which case you would
replace or relube the gasket with silicone grease to prevent water ingress when
submerged or in the shower (generally not recommended for any watch). So I have
to exclude water ingress issues from my warranty. I have tested the buttons and
everything is working perfectly. Please
note that the 2 year Casio international warranty ended in November 2022.
Returns
If you
do not believe the watch matches the
description, then I accept returns provided you contact me first to discuss the issue and the watch has not be worn or used and the packaging is in new condition.
Shipping
Normally
dispatched same or next working day. Casio box
weighs 424g approx. Including packing for international via Royal Mail it will
weigh just under 750g (to keep shipping costs down). UK Special Delivery or GSP
I will use a larger box (up to 1kg).

- Less than 10 eBay feedback - contact me prior to
purchase. If you buy the item, you are expected to have read the title &
description, viewed the photos & paid for the item.

- Dispatch Time - majority of items sent
out same or next day.
- Shipping Method – normally ship using the
shipping method described in the listing unless a better shipping offer is
available. For domestic orders, may sometimes use Royal Mail 2nd
Class instead of Hermes & vice versa, although this is not the norm.
International – use Ebay’s Global Shipping Programme (GSP) for everything,
where I ship to Ebay’s GSP Centre in Lichfield WS13 8SU, & ebay’s
delivery network forwards it to the buyer in the destination country. I
may or may not upload tracking for the UK leg of the journey (as it sometimes
confuses) but ebay will email you directly with delivery updates once it
enters the Ebay GSP network. On some items I offer Royal Mail
International as a shipping option in addition.
- Delivery Instructions –please provide a shipping
address where someone is in during working hours if possible, &
contact me with any safe place instructions if Hermes is specified. Hermes
make 3 delivery attempts before the item is returned to sender, but should
leave a card each time, allowing you to reschedule or specify a different
address. If the item is returned to the sender, then I cannot refund the
shipping.
- Item Did Not Arrive – Contact me if the item has
not been received within a reasonable time frame & tracking
information is missing for trackable deliveries, the item may have been
lost in transit. If the tracking information states that the item has been
delivered but it has not, it is critical to look around the property
(including inside wheelie bins) & to talk to neighbours asap (in case
it was misdelivered) & contact me asap so I can chase up the courier
to raise an internal investigation, providing all relevant information.
- Returns – All used items come from my own personal
collection, are described as accurately as possible & have been tested
working if possible. New items have been purchased by myself from retailer
or manufacturer. No returns unless not as described upon receipt (i.e. inaccurate
description or damaged in transit). Contact me in the event of a problem, elaborating
on the nature of the issue & be willing to work with me to adequately
diagnose the problem (if a fault) prior to raising an eBay return request.
Evidence of the problem is required (photos or video).
